How Does My Grease Trap or Interceptor Work
Here is a link to a diagram that shows how an interceptor is supposed to function

How Often Should my Grease Trap or Interceptor be Pumped?
The Arizona FOG group recommends a minimum cleaning frequency of quarterly for grease interceptors and monthly for grease traps. By properly maintaining your grease trap or interceptor odors and plumbing issues are usually reduced. A properly maintained grease trap or interceptor also has a reduced likelyhood of having a messy and inconvienent backup or overflow.
Where is the Removed Waste Disposed of?
All waste that is removed from a grease trap or interceptor needs to be disposed of at an authorized and permited disposal facility. Since 1998, AAA Ajax Pumping Service, Inc. has operated our own fully permitted disposal facility located in Phoenix, AZ
